It sits one step below AWS Premier, placing us among a mature group of consulting firms AWS has formally validated for complex, production-grade work. Alongside Advanced Tier, we hold Solution Provider status — which makes Jacobian an authorized AWS reseller. We purchase AWS services at volume pricing and manage them directly on your behalf: one contract, one invoice, one company accountable for both the architecture and the bill. AWS Security Competency
AWS validated us across eight security categories: AI Security, Application Security, Threat Detection and Response, Infrastructure Protection, Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, Perimeter Protection, and Compliance and Privacy. Each category required evidence of real customer implementations and a technical audit — not just certifications on paper.
AWS MSSP Competency (Level 1)
This is distinct from the Security Competency. The MSSP designation validates managed security operations across Infrastructure Security, Workload Security, Data Protection, Identity Management, Incident Response, and Cyber Recovery. The round-the-clock detection behind it runs on Sophos MDR — we do not operate our own security operations center, and our work is the integration, tuning, escalation ownership, and compliance-evidence mapping around it. For regulated organizations that need continuous monitoring as a compliance requirement, this is the credential that matters.
AWS Healthcare Competency
AWS grants this competency only to partners who have demonstrated they can build HIPAA-compliant solutions and manage PHI securely — including signing Business Associate Addendums, using HIPAA-eligible AWS services, and implementing HITRUST CSF controls. Healthcare accounts for roughly one-quarter of all U.S. cyber attacks; AWS validated our credentials so you do not have to take our word for it.
AWS Generative AI Competency
AWS validated us to build and operate generative AI workloads on AWS, and separately awarded the AI Agents specialization beneath it — the narrower credential covering agentic systems that plan, call tools, and act rather than only generate text. Like our other competencies, both required evidence of real customer implementations, a technical audit, and ongoing engagements in that specialization. They are credentials AWS verified, not capabilities we assert about ourselves.
Solution Provider — Your AWS, Fully Managed
As an authorized AWS reseller under the Solution Provider Program, we own your AWS account management end-to-end: procurement, provisioning, billing, and ongoing operations. You get consolidated invoicing, potential volume pricing benefits, and a single point of accountability. The 2026 AWS Billing Transfer feature also lets us centrally manage cost and usage across multiple AWS accounts for clients with complex environments.
